Thoth 0.2.0: an assistant, windows, share links and members
Thoth 0.2.0 turns the Agent Hub into the Thoth assistant, with Codex next to Claude Code and answers you can keep. It adds notifications, tabs you can drag into their own window, link previews, public share links, workspace members with invite links, and a read-only MCP server for other apps.
The Thoth assistant
The Thoth mascot sits in the corner of the window. Press Cmd/Ctrl+J or click it to open its prompt bubble, pick the pages it may use, and ask.
You can choose Claude Code or Codex. Codex runs inside its own sandbox, which Thoth sets to write only in the run’s private folder, and has no spending limit.
A run’s answer appears in the bubble and in the run’s own tab, with Copy answer. The sidebar’s Assistant section lists recent runs, and Ask again starts a new run with the same task.
Ask a follow-up turns the run’s tab into a conversation: each new question goes with the earlier questions and answers, on the same pages and settings.
Every change is still reviewed as a diff and applied only when you choose Apply. Settings → Thoth assistant holds the providers, the history and the permissions.
Notifications
A bell in the sidebar lists what happened while you were busy: a run ready for review, a copy or move done, an import finished, a save conflict.
When Thoth is in the background, the same events can show as system notifications. Each kind can be switched off in Settings, and they never contain page text.
Tabs and windows
Drag a tab to reorder it, and watch the other tabs make room as you drag. Alt/Option+Shift+Left and Right do the same from the keyboard.
Drag a tab out of the tab bar to open it in a new window on the same Private Space. Each window keeps its own tabs, and edits in one window show in the other.
Sharing and members
Share a workspace page as a public read-only link that anyone can open without an account, and revoke it at any time.
The Members dialog changes roles, removes people and makes invite links. Someone with a link joins in the browser, or in the desktop app from Settings → Servers → Join with an invite link.
You can own several workspaces: create, rename and delete them from the sidebar, and restore a deleted one within 30 days. The hosted trial allows 3 per account.
You can now drag pages between your Private Space and a workspace. The copy and move dialog opens, with its preview, before anything is sent.
Images in pages
Images in your pages now show, including SVG files and the images in pages you imported from Notion or Obsidian. A missing image names its file, and an image from the web shows as a link that opens in your browser.
Add an image from the / menu, by pasting it or by dropping a file on the page. Thoth copies it next to the page, and you can edit its alt text.
Links and updates
Paste a web address to make a link. Links can show a preview card, which the app fetches from public addresses only and keeps in a cache.
When a new desktop version is out, a notice says so, with a link to what is new. Thoth checks at start and once a day, and downloads nothing by itself.
Connected apps
Thoth includes a read-only MCP server, so an AI tool on your computer can search and read your pages. It is off until you switch it on, and each app asks once to connect.
A tidier sidebar
The sidebar can be resized. The Private Space, each server and the Assistant are sections you can reorder and fold, and the order is kept.
Star a page to keep it in Favorites at the top of the sidebar. Pin a tab to keep it at the start of the tab bar, where Cmd/Ctrl+W does not close it.
What was fixed
Pages in the sidebar can be dragged again, and a drop lands where the line is drawn. A moved page keeps its open tabs. The window no longer scrolls as a whole; only the page area does.
Closing one window leaves the others open, and the mascot’s bubble no longer cuts off the start of a long answer.

Questions
Can the assistant change my notes without asking?
No. As before, every change is shown as a diff in a private copy, and your Private Space is written only when you choose Apply.
Can other apps write to my notes through MCP?
No. The MCP server only searches and reads, it is off until you switch it on, and you allow or deny each app.
